Richard Martens

Richard Martens is the owner of TJC Automotive Mobile Mechanic, an automotive service business serving Centereach and communities throughout Suffolk County, New York. With 15 years of automotive experience, Richard brings hands-on knowledge, dealership training, and practical experience to his work. His primary area of expertise is mobile mechanic service, allowing automotive repairs and maintenance to be brought directly to customers throughout the company’s service area.

Through TJC Automotive, Richard is involved in a broad range of automotive and equipment services. The business works with personal vehicles and commercial fleets and provides services that include mobile automotive repairs, diesel repair, commercial fleet service, construction equipment repair, hydraulic hose and line repair, collision and frame services, mechanical and suspension work, and tire installation and maintenance. TJC Automotive services most vehicle makes and models and can source parts needed for repairs, while also allowing customers to provide their own parts after confirming compatibility.

Building Automotive Knowledge Through Dealership Training and Experience

Richard’s automotive education is rooted in dealership training and experience. Over the course of 15 years in the automotive field, this background has provided the foundation for the work he now performs through TJC Automotive Mobile Mechanic.

That dealership experience is particularly relevant to the range of vehicles and repair situations handled by the business. TJC Automotive combines dealership-level knowledge with the flexibility of mobile mechanic services, providing customers with an option for receiving automotive assistance at their location. The company’s website identifies Cummins, Chrysler, Chevy, Diesel, and ASC certifications as part of its automotive background and qualifications.

Richard’s experience is applied to both routine automotive needs and more involved mechanical work. TJC Automotive’s services range from general maintenance and mechanical repairs to work involving diesel engines, hydraulic systems, commercial fleets, construction equipment, and collision and frame concerns. This variety reflects the practical automotive knowledge required to evaluate different types of vehicles, systems, and repair needs.

Bringing Mobile Mechanic Service to Suffolk County

A central part of Richard’s current work is providing mobile mechanic services throughout Suffolk County. Rather than requiring every customer to bring a vehicle to a traditional repair facility, TJC Automotive can travel directly to a customer’s location. The company states that customers within its Suffolk County service area can receive mobile automotive service at their home or workplace.

This mobile approach extends Richard’s automotive experience beyond personal passenger vehicles. TJC Automotive works with both individual vehicle owners and commercial customers. Commercial fleet maintenance and repair are among the company’s services, along with emergency fleet roadside assistance. The business also works on construction equipment, including issues involving engines and hydraulic systems.

TJC Automotive’s diesel services include work involving light- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles. Hydraulic hose and line services address issues such as leaks and damaged components, while the company’s mechanical and suspension services cover needs such as brake repairs and suspension work. Tire services include installation, rotation, balancing, and maintenance.

Richard’s work through TJC Automotive also encompasses collision and frame services. For these repairs, the company works with insurance companies throughout Suffolk County. TJC Automotive also works directly with third-party warranty companies and insurance providers as part of its repair process.

Automotive and Mobile Repair Expertise

Richard’s primary expertise is mobile mechanic work, supported by his dealership training and 15 years of automotive experience. His work through TJC Automotive involves multiple areas of vehicle and equipment service, including automotive diagnostics and repair, diesel service, commercial fleet maintenance, construction equipment repair, hydraulic systems, mechanical and suspension work, collision and frame service, and tire maintenance.

The variety of services available through TJC Automotive means Richard’s work is not limited to one type of customer or vehicle. The business serves personal and commercial customers and works on most vehicle makes and models. For businesses operating fleets, TJC Automotive provides maintenance and repair services designed to address vehicle needs while minimizing downtime. For construction equipment, services can involve engine diagnostics and hydraulic repairs.

The mobile component remains an important part of this work. By bringing repairs directly to customers across Suffolk County, TJC Automotive can address automotive needs outside a conventional shop setting. This model also supports services such as fleet roadside assistance when commercial vehicles encounter problems.

Service Standards at TJC Automotive

As owner, Richard’s current work is connected to the service standards established by TJC Automotive. The company offers free estimates within 24 hours, services within 24 hours, and reports a one-day average turnaround time. Parts and labor are backed by a one-year or 12,000-mile warranty.
